An accurate Astrology Reading requires a precise birth time - to the minute (for example, 8:04 pm) - as this is how a Natal Chart is cast. The sky moves quickly and much can change from one minute to the next! Many of our primary techniques as Astrologers rely on having an accurate birth time, however, if you do not know your birth time we can still cast a Solar Chart and get lots of great information (because Astrology works in layers, so this is one layer we will still be able to see!).

HOW I READ

Astrology and Tarot both show conditions and energy, not outcomes. Life is a mystery, but I believe we are more powerful than we remember in most moments. Readings can help us remember our power.

I always look for the blessings. There are always blessings.

I believe in possibility. There are always possibilities.

I do everything I can to honor the beliefs and perspectives of each client. I approach readings with sensitivity, compassion and optimism. My ultimate aim is to empower and uplift every client and help them remember their gifts.

My Astrological practice is rooted in the ancient Hellenistic tradition and I use traditional planetary rulers, but I also definitely use modern planets as well as some fixed stars and asteroids. There is so much to work with!

I have studied formally with Nina Gryphon, Gemini Brett and Rebecca Gordon and have also taken self-study courses and workshops from Austin Coppock, Demetra George, Kelly Surtees, Anne Ortelee and Kenneth Miller. I primarily use the Whole Sign House system but find value in referencing Placidus as well.

TIMING: Astrology makes things make sense. And when things make sense, we can feel a whole lot better. I have found Astrology to be incredibly helpful in understanding both my natural gifts and tendencies, as well as what is going on in my life at any given time! As we watch astrological transits (weather), we come to understand what themes are playing out at in any given moment or period of time with impressive accuracy, as well as how we can work with these themes for our ultimate goodness, growth and success. Understanding what is themes we are swimming in can help us find meaning and opportunity, as well as bring validation, peace and empowerment to surf the currents and work with them for the highest Divine order of Love.

The question is always "What do you want to do with this energy?"

POSSIBILITY: I truly believe that life is open. Life - and Astrological weather - bring growth through blessings and growth through challenges. Life waters and prunes. I will never give you a negative prediction or tell you that something you want isn't meant for you because I don't believe for one second that a challenging configuration is a finite limitation. In fact, some of life's greatest ass-kickings can lead to incredible personal development and epic triumph in ways greater than we could have ever imagined on our own. So... we stay open ✨ 🌹 Like one of my former teachers Anne Ortelee says, "If it's in your heart, it's in your chart."

While I do have Natal Chart Readings available like most astrologers, I prefer to offer clients the opportunity to look at both the natal chart and transits in any given reading since I find transits so important and transformative. If you are interested in looking at both your natal chart and transits, book the Deluxe Year Ahead reading, or an open reading of at least 45 minutes. The nooks and crannies of the natal chart are truly endless, as are timing techniques, and so I look for the heart of what's coming up and what you most need at the time of your session.
